He is the founder and manager of the Glaucoma Specialist Centre for Ophthalmology in Palestine. He worked as Glaucoma and Anterior Segment surgery consultant in different ophthalmic centres in Palestine. He is experienced in diagnosis and management of all types of Glaucoma. He has a vast experience in using medical therapy, laser treatment of Glaucoma (SLT\/MLT, Micro-pulse cyclophotocoagulation), and modern surgical modalities to treat Glaucoma (MIGS).<\/p><p>He was Head of the Optometry Department at the Islamic university of Gaza (IUG) and then the Dean of Faculty of Health sciences at the IUG. Dr. Hamed is specialized in all problems of the anterior segment in particular.
