About Dr. Baher Ashour
Dr. Baher Ashour is an accomplished Consultant Otolaryngologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. Before joining Quironsalud Hospital, he was previously the Head of the ENT Department and Acting Head of Surgical Services at Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (formerly Zayed Military Hospital, Al Batayih, UAE). He is also an Assistant Professor at Cairo University Faculty of Medicine.
In 2004, he was awarded the prestigious Chevening scholarship by the British Government to study the effects of noise on hearing and wellbeing. During this time, he obtained a master’s degree with distinction in Audiology for ENT practice from University College London and trained at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital in London.
In 2009, he earned his MD degree and in 2011, he became a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
