Dr. Nadim Habash is a board-certified Consultant Ophthalmologist, specializing in cornea and ocular surface diseases as well as general ophthalmology.
He completed his specialty training at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., where he also served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
With over 40 years of experience, he brings extensive expertise in corneal transplantation and anterior segment disease, having practiced across the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Throughout his career, Dr. Habash has held key academic and leadership positions at several renowned institutions, including the University of Toledo in Ohio, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia, and the American Hospital Dubai, where he served as Director of Ophthalmology, Assistant Chief Medical Officer, and Chief of Medical Staff.
In addition to his clinical work, he is a distinguished educator and researcher with multiple publications on corneal transplantation and has chaired scientific conferences while mentoring ophthalmology residents.
Dr. Habash is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCS C).
